2oz Pennington’s Strawberry Rye
6 Basil leaves
4 Mint leaves
.25 oz simple syrup (optional)
Pour ingredients into ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously. Empty shaker contents into rocks glass & garnish with a basil sprig. For a lighter version, omit the simple syrup and add a splash of club soda in the glass.
